Fossil stone is a natural stone quarried out of the mountains of the Philippines. Sliced into small pieces measuring 2” x 2” they are then veneered onto a 1” piece of marine plywood with a special epoxy and then highly polished to bring out the beauty of the natural stone. To clean your top we recommend only mild soap. No hard cleaning agents should be used. To bring back the luster of your top it can be hand polished with Johnson’s Shine Up. Fossil stone is porous and you can use a stone sealer for added protection but is not totally necessary.
